For years I have created delicious and festive
chocolates for my family, friends and
co-workers. I always looked forward to the next
holiday or birthday to try something new.
During a family visit in 2005 my sister made a
comment about selling my chocolates. Originally
I thought that suggestion was crazy but after
tossing the idea around I started getting
excited about the possibilities and the designs
that I would be able to create. After a year of
meeting with suppliers, vendors and other
chocolatiers, The Sweet Side officially opened
and we have since been providing retail and
wholesale chocolates. We have created chocolates
for special events such as Grand Openings,
County Clubs parties, Weddings, Corporate
Baskets, Florists, Coffee Shops, Charities and
the General Public.
In 2007, The Sweet Side was introduced to a
Premium Belgian Chocolate named Callebaut
Chocolate which is chosen by leading
chocolatiers and confectioners throughout the
world. After using Callebaut we saw and tasted a
noticeable difference. Our chocolates were
creamier, shiner and overall just better. When
we combined the Callebaut Chocolate with our
delicious creams, truffles and caramels we knew
that we had a chocolate sensation.
The Sweet Side is a small family company and as
such we try to take out the “commercial side”
chocolate gifting. Our goal is to take you out
of the ordinary chocolate box and step you into
the unique and spectacular …
